Advocating for Older Adults and the People Who Care for Them
Our commitment to older adults continues.

While we no longer operate an assisted living residence, our experience working closely with older adults and their families has deepened our commitment to ensuring that aging adults are heard, respected, informed, and connected to the resources they need.

After years of providing hands-on support to older adults, We saw firsthand how difficult it can be for individuals and families to navigate care, services, benefits, and changing needs. That experience now informs our work as an advocate, resource connector, and community partner.

Today, our work focuses on advocacy, education, resource navigation, and community support for older adults and their caregivers.

We believe every older adult deserves to age with dignity, autonomy, safety, and meaningful connection. Navigating healthcare, housing, benefits, caregiving, transportation, and other support systems can be overwhelming. We help individuals and families better understand available options, identify resources, and advocate for their needs.

How We Can Help

Our older adult advocacy work may include:

  • Connecting older adults and caregivers with community resources and services

  • Supporting veterans and their families through resource connection, education, and advocacy related to mental health, suicide prevention, opioid and substance use concerns, caregiver needs, and other challenges that may affect health, safety, and quality of life.

  • Helping families identify questions to ask when exploring care and support options

  • Providing education and information related to aging, caregiving, and available resources

  • Supporting older adults in communicating their needs, preferences, and concerns

  • Helping individuals and families navigate complex systems and referrals

  • Promoting awareness of issues affecting older adults and caregivers

  • Partnering with community organizations to strengthen support for aging adults

  • Advocating for dignity, inclusion, safety, and quality of life throughout the aging process

A Continued Commitment to Our Community

Closing our assisted living residence did not end our commitment to older adults. It created an opportunity to serve in a different way.

We are carrying forward the knowledge, relationships, and experience gained through years of working with older adults and families and using them to help people navigate aging with greater confidence and support.

Everyone deserves to be heard, valued, and supported as they age.
